1. Who we are
Kadai Store ("we", "us") provides a service that lets small businesses ("shop owners") publish a product catalogue website. You can contact us at krinsta25@gmail.com.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy covers (a) shop owners who create an account with us, and (b) visitors who browse a shop owner's website on our service.
3. What we collect
From shop owners: your name or business name, email address, WhatsApp number, city and address if you add them, your password (we store it only in a scrambled form that we cannot read), and the content you upload, such as product names, prices, descriptions, photos and your logo. If you pay us by UPI, we may also see the payment details you send us as proof of payment.
From visitors: we do not ask visitors to create an account or type personal details on the website. When a visitor taps the WhatsApp button, they leave our website and the chat is between the visitor, the shop owner and WhatsApp.
Collected automatically: like most websites, our servers and security tools record technical data such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use this to keep the service running and to block abuse.
4. Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps a shop owner logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means a visitor's IP address is shared with Google when the page loads.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide and support the service, show shop owners their dashboard, handle renewals and payments, protect the service from misuse, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Who we share information with
We use trusted providers to run the service, such as cloud hosting, database and security providers (for example Amazon Web Services, MongoDB Atlas and Cloudflare). They process data only to provide those services to us. Data may be stored on servers in or outside India. We may also share information if the law requires it.
7. Shop owners and their own customers
Shop owners decide what to publish on their website and how they deal with their own customers, including any personal details customers share over WhatsApp. Shop owners are responsible for handling that information properly.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete your shop, products and photos within 30 days. Backup copies are overwritten within a further 30 days. We may keep payment records for as long as the law requires.
9. Security
We protect information with measures such as scrambled passwords, secure connections and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email us at krinsta25@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you believe your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 have not been respected.
11. Children
Our service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell shop owners about important changes through their dashboard or WhatsApp.
